EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIP!
What an educational and fun experience for children in Schools, Day Care Centers, and Summer Camps to attend a Field Trip at the Diamond D Ranch.

The Diamond D Ranch is an actual working horse and cattle ranch covering over 600 acres. One of the highlights of the student's visit is the hay ride around the ranch where they experience first hand just how the ranch operates. They learn the history of the ranch and how a real working horse and cattle ranch works. The children will get to meet some of the cattle up close and personal during thier stop at the cattle pasture. The final stop on the hayride is at the petting zoo with Deer, Antelope, Goats, Sheep, Emus, and the star of the show, "Bubba" the American Bison buffalo.
Back at the picnic grounds the children will go for a walk on our nature trail where you will learn all about some of the trees and wild life that is native to Florida. Of course, at the Animal Orientation they will get to learn more about cattle and horses and just how much these animals helped to shape America.
Don't forget to pack a lunch! A time is set aside to enjoy your lunch at our shady picnic area under our party pavilion tent complete with tables and chairs. If you choose, we can provide lunch for you. Call our office to obtain the cost for lunches served.
